Connect a wallet—or just look around

Understand addresses, watching, connecting, and which balance belongs where.

4 sections Beginner friendly

Watch an address

An Ethereum address identifies an account. Watching tells the explorer which account’s public information to show. It does not give the site permission to spend from that account.

An ENS name such as a name ending in .eth can point to an address. This site resolves the name before loading the account. If it cannot resolve it, check the spelling or enter the full address.

  1. Select Connect or watch in the header.
  2. Enter an Ethereum address or .eth name and select View.
  3. Check that the header says Watching and shows the expected address or name.
  4. Open Opportunities or Portfolio to see that account’s information.

Connect when u want to sign

Choose a wallet provider in the same dialog and approve the connection in ur wallet. Connecting shares an account with the site; it does not itself submit a supply or borrow transaction. Transactions need separate confirmation.

WalletConnect appears as usable only when it has been configured for this site. If it says Not configured, use an available browser wallet or watch an address.

Watching an address takes precedence over a connected account in the explorer. To transact with ur wallet, connect through the dialog again and verify that the header says Connected with the right address.

Wallet balance versus supplied balance

Wallet balance means tokens still held in the selected account. Supplied balance means tokens already placed into a market. ur debt is what that account owes. Supplying can reduce the first balance and increase the second.

ETH pays Ethereum transaction fees, usually called gas. WETH is a separate token representing wrapped ETH. The action form tells u which ERC-20 token it uses; having ETH for gas does not mean u have that token available to supply.

Recent addresses and connection problems

The dialog keeps up to four recently watched addresses in this browser. Selecting one watches it again. This is a convenience list, not a list of accounts u can sign for.

If the connection fails, read the error, check the wallet extension, and try again when the wallet is ready. If u only want to inspect data, watching remains an option. The current explorer does not provide separate Disconnect or Stop watching buttons; u can manage site connections inside ur wallet.

Full glossary
Connect or watch

Opens the choice between connecting a signing wallet and viewing an address's public information.

Connected

A wallet has shared an account with the site. Transactions still require their own wallet confirmation.

ENS

Ethereum Name Service: names such as example.eth that can resolve to an Ethereum address.

Enter

The keyboard key used to activate a focused link or button.

ERC-20

A common Ethereum token standard that defines functions such as transfers and spending approvals.

ETH

Ether, Ethereum's native asset. It pays transaction fees on Ethereum.

Ethereum address

The public identifier of an Ethereum account. u can view its public activity without having permission to spend its funds.

Gas

The work needed to process a blockchain transaction. Fees use ETH on Ethereum and OP Mainnet, or AVAX on Avalanche, separately from the action token.

Not configured

That wallet connector has not been set up for this site. Use an available connector or watch an address.

Opportunities

The page matching the selected account's wallet tokens to available routes. Its listings are comparisons, not recommendations.

Portfolio

The selected account's supplied positions and debt on the markets covered by this explorer.

Supplied balance

Tokens already placed into a market. They must be withdrawn before they become available in the wallet again.

Supply

Moves the chosen token from ur wallet into the selected market after the transaction confirms.

TokenTokens

A digital asset recorded on a blockchain. Check the specific asset and network before entering an amount.

TransactionTransactions

A signed request processed by the blockchain, such as supplying tokens or granting an approval. Review its receipt to check whether it succeeded.

ur debtYour debt

The amount the selected account owes, including interest that has accrued.

USDC

A dollar-denominated stablecoin token designed to track one US dollar. Its token amount and market dollar value are separate measurements.

View

Loads the address entered in the Connect or watch dialog for read-only browsing.

Wallet

An app or device that manages accounts and lets u approve transactions. Connecting a wallet is different from approving a payment or loan.

Wallet balance

Tokens held in the selected account, outside its supplied positions. A wallet balance does not subtract outstanding loans.

Watching

The explorer is showing an address's public data. Watching does not allow it to sign transactions for that address.

WETH

Wrapped Ether: ETH represented as an ERC-20 token. WETH and the ETH used to pay gas appear as separate balances.
