Updates, charts, and missing data

Know what the status lights and chart bars can—and cannot—tell u.

4 sections Beginner friendly

What Updated means

The header shows whether the explorer is loading market data and when its market view last updated. Its freshness cue uses a ten-minute window. It is not proof that every value comes from Ethereum’s latest block.

Market and wallet requests are separate. One part of a page can have data while another is still loading. The decorative blinking Hub/Spoke lights are not transaction confirmations.

Read small charts carefully

Use the controls above a Hub chart to switch between total supplied, total borrowed, available liquidity, and utilization. Spoke charts offer total supplied and total borrowed: Aave does not provide Spoke liquidity or utilization history in this feed. Each chart requests a month of history and shows every returned dated sample. Amounts use dollars with an axis starting at zero; utilization uses percentages on a scale of at least 0 to 100%. Hover, tap, or focus the chart and use the arrow keys to read a sample; Home and End jump to the first and last samples. Dates use UTC. The latest sample can be older than the current market totals.

The chart footer identifies the source and sample count. Missing values and breaks in the sample timeline are left blank. Loading, no history, and a failed request have separate messages. Asset supply and borrow APY charts remain compact bar views with up to 18 recent samples, each scaled separately. The timeframe is fixed to the last month.

Missing is different from zero

No samples means there are no history samples to display. Loading and could not be loaded are different from a measured zero. Some unavailable summaries can currently fall back to zero-like values, so use the surrounding loading and error messages for context.

No matching balances on Opportunities means no supported match was found in the received balance data. It is not a scan of every asset on every network.

After a transaction

A confirmation and an updated portfolio display are separate stages. View transaction opens the receipt on the selected network after a successful action. Refresh balances reloads the explorer so it can request data again.

The local lab reads its copied contracts directly, so its test positions do not come from the production data service. Do not expect a local transaction hash to appear on Ethereum Etherscan.

No supported token-route match was found in the returned data. This does not mean the account owns no assets.

No samples

There are no history values available to draw in that chart. It does not indicate a measured zero.

Opportunities

The page matching the selected account's wallet tokens to available routes. Its listings are comparisons, not recommendations.

PositionPositions

An account's supplied assets and debt within a market. One account can have separate positions in multiple Spokes.
